The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness – John Muir
Forest Bathing & Woodland Journey Events
In addition to crafting art that reflects the natural world, we invite you to discover the art of nature. Join Dawn Ambrose of Woodland Findings for a guided “forest” or “nature” bathing experience, a time to unplug from technology and slow down while connecting with nature through all 5 major senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste (taste being optional). Breathing fresh air, listening to the sounds of the forest, smelling the scent of the trees, feeling the earth underfoot while taking in the sight of a serene or cloudy sky are ways that human beings can reduce stress and relax. Being in nature provides a positive impact to the body, the mindful practice of forest bathing can make you feel renewed and rejuvenated!

Come into the forest, for-rest. In Japanese, it is Shinrin (forest) yoku (bath) which translates in English to taking in the forest atmosphere.
A forest or nature bath, is a slow-paced mindful walk to a sit spot or spots that involve guided invitations or suggestions that immerse participants in nature by engaging our major senses. This practice offers an opportunity for moments of reprieve, introspection or to simply experience the benefits of spending time with the outdoor world.
Benefits include:
*Reduced stress
*Boosted immune system
*Increased energy
*Reduced heart rate
*Improved sleep, mood and concentration
My 90-minute forest bathing experience with Dawn was transformative. She guided us to connect deeply with nature, and since that day, I have become more aware of the beauty and serenity that creation offers. This experience continues to enrich my soul in unexpected ways – Susan Gregory
