Where Nature Meets Creativity and Connection

The woods, the trees and the rocks give man the resonance he needs.

Welcome to Woodland Findings

At Woodland Findings, we believe in the transformative power of nature. Located in the heart of Kittitas County, we are dedicated to bringing the beauty of the outdoors in.

Cultivating Connection Through Creativity

Inspired by the words of Ed Abbey, “Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit,” we invite you to embark on a journey of relaxation and inspiration. Join us (for one, or all of these ways) as we give space to help nurture a connection to the world around us.

Experience the Beauty of Nature-inspired Creations

We invite you to join us in celebrating the wonder of nature through handcrafted art and crafts. Browse our collection by exploring our upcoming shows & events.

Commissioned art requests are welcomed and very appreciated.

When not sourced directly from nature, materials used in art/craft projects are repurposed/reused whenever possible.

Forest Bathing Experience

In Japanese, it is Shinrin (forest) Yoku (bath) which translates in English to “taking in the forest atmosphere”.

A “forest” or “nature” bath, is time to simply breathe and notice the Earth around us. We slow down and connect with nature by engaging our major senses through guided invitations or suggestions that immerse participants in the natural world.

This mindful wellness practice offers an opportunity for moments of reprieve, introspection or to simply experience the benefits of engaging with the outdoor world.

Benefits include:
*Reduced stress
*Boosted immune system
*Increased energy
*Reduced heart rate
*Improved sleep, mood and concentration

Woodland Journeys

Nestled in the forested Cascade mountains near the plains of the Yakima River Valley, Woodland Findings has cultivated a haven for those seeking an outlet to explore their creativity amidst the wonders of the natural world.

Designed to foster a love for nature in children of all ages, join us for opportunities to relax, learn new things, get hands on and connect.

These ½ or full day experiences often begin with a shinrin (forest) yoku (bath) experience followed by an art/craft class or workshop.

We welcome you to explore, connect and create with us!!
